My favorite member of the 60's counter-culture was Jerry Rubin. I love how this movie juxtaposes his pre-"Growing Up At 37" radical era and his 80's yuppie phase. BTW, this is the first time I saw the older Jerry Rubin in film.
I first read about Jerry Rubin when I was in the Army regarding The Chicago Seven. One day shortly after I was discharged in 1988, Phil Donahue ran a classic episode of Jerry Rubin in April 1970. I recorded in on VHS and I promise to upload it a.s.a.p.
Thank you for posting this movie.
p.s. check out a movie called Katherine starring Henry Winkler and Sissy Spacek who played two prominent members of The Weather Underground.
